Kuwait, Iraq to boost bilateral relations
(MENAFN) Kuwait was reported to be making efforts alongside Iraq to see their relations reinforced in a range of areas.
KUNA reported Kuwait's Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah to have made the statement following the arrival of Iraq's President Barham Salih.
The Iraqi president was confirmed to have held talks with Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah during his official visit.
The two sides addressed bilateral ties, along with exploring means to boost the frameworks of their relations in different areas.
Kuwait and Iraq, Salih assured, enjoy strong and long-standing ties with mutual goals for both counties to see a thriving future.
