 
 Qatar- Amiri Law regulates foreign ownership
Doha: Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued yesterday the Law No. 16 of 2018 regulating non-Qatari ownership and use of properties.
Under the provisions of the law, non-Qataris may own and use real estate in certain areas and in accordance with the conditions, controls and benefits specified by a decision from the Cabinet and based on the suggestion of the committee for regulating non-Qatari ownership and use of real estate, which is set up in the Ministry of Justice, and includes representatives from all concerned parties.
The law is effective and shall be published in the official gazette
