Top Omani, Indian diplomats discuss ties


(MENAFN) Oman addressed means to boost cooperation with India in various fields, including economy, trade and investment.

The talks were held between Abdullah bin Ali Al Shafei, Chairman of the Board Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) in Batinah North Governorate, and India's Ambassador Muna Mahawar.

The top Omani and Indian officials shed light during their talks on investment potentials in Batinah North Governorate.

The two sides also discussed facilities and privileges seen in Sohar Free Zone, Sohar Industrial Estate and Sohar Port.

The Indian envoy also stated "the Sultanate of Oman enjoys political stability, a strategic location and attractive business environment, which are the most important factors in encouraging foreign investments, including Indian investments."
