OIC secretary general to visit Afghanistan in near future
(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) KABUL (Pajhwok): The Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) Secretary General Yousef Al-Othaimeen has accepted President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani€™s invitation to visit Afghanistan.
Mohammad Walli Naeemi, Afghanistan€™s representative in the OIC during a meeting with OIC secretary general extended formal invitation on the behalf of President Ghani which he accepted and assured to visit the country in an appropriate time.
The Afghan peace process, upcoming Geneva Conference on Afghanistan discussed in details during the meeting which was held in Jedda.
Naeemi provided information to Yousef Al-Othaimeen regarding the grand participation of men and women during Wolesi Jirga election.
OIC has earned greater importance since the organization organised a global ulema conference on Afghanistan in July.
