
Number of incoming tourists in Turkey's Antalya exceeds 11 million since early 2018

Over 11 million tourists have visited Turkey's Antalya city since the beginning of the year, the Turkish media reported.
According to the Culture and Tourism Department of Antalya province, from September 1 to September 29, 2018, 1,877,500 tourists arrived in the region through the airports of Antalya and Gazipasa.
The number of tourists increased by 25 percent compared to the same period of 2017.
"From January 1 to September 29, 11.4 million tourists arrived in the region through two airports,' the department said. 'Thus, 10.71 million tourists arrived at the Antalya Airport, while 287,800 - Gazipasa Airport. The number tourists grew by 28 percent compared to the same period of 2017."
During the reporting period, 2,416,100 tourists visited Antalya which is more than in 2017.
