Olympic champion Gyozo Kulcsar dies aged 77
(MENAFN) The Hungarian Olympic Committee declared that the four-time Olympic winner and three-time world champion Hungarian fencer Gyozo Kulcsar has passed away at the age of 77.
Kulcsar has been one of the most-known Hungarian athletes, who didn't only outstand in sport, but also was one of the best coaches in Hungary, as his career lasted for 52.
He took part in the individual and team epee events at the 1964, 1968, 1972 and 1976 Olympics and granted four gold (one individual and three team) and two individual bronze medals.
He was given three world titles with the Hungarian team, in 1970, 1971 and 1978 as well.
