Turkey voices support to Palestinian economy
(MENAFN) Turkish Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan stressed that his country acknowledges the significance of Palestine's economic growth.
The statement has been made by the Turkish minister while speaking to press following a meeting of the Turkey-Palestine Economic Cooperation Council in Ankara.
The minister stated "we support the industrial zone which will be built in Jenin, and we invite Turkish and Palestinian businesspeople to invest in the Jenin Industrial Free Zone."
Pekcan highlighted the importance of the cooperation council meetings in enhancing Turkey-Palestine economic ties.
She added "after peace, the most important step for the region is to provide a developed and strong economic structure for our dynamic youth."
