Egypt officially opens Taba's land port after redevelopment works
(MENAFN) Egypt was announced to have launched its Taba's land port following an expansion project of more than 27,000 square meters at EGP 49 million.
The inauguration of the land port has officially been done by Egyptian minister of transportation Khaled Fouda.
The renovation works were confirmed to have included the infrastructure of the port, its administrative buildings along with its fire systems.
The port was also said to be positioned as the eastern gateway to the country's top touristic spots, including Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, and Nuweiba.
