Oman- Subway brings fresh experience to region


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Subway, the world's largest restaurant chain, has rolled out the Subway Fresh Forward design, transforming every aspect of the customer experience.

Restaurants with the Subway Fresh Forward design that are now open are as follows: Salalah, Oman at Salalah International Airport by franchisee Esam al Shanfari; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - Tahliya Street by Shamel Food Company Ltd and Abu Dhabi, UAE, at Al Khalidiya Street GO2, by franchisee Mohammad Marwan al Hamar.

Restaurants will be opening soon in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at Block 6912 Saad bin Abi Waggas Street by franchisee Saeid Omar Basager Est; Kuwait, Al Egaila, Block 5, Amanah Mall by franchisee Abdul Rahman Almutairi; Sharjah Airport, UAE by Fresh Fast Food Company; Oman City Centre by franchisee Najeeb Mohammad and An Naseem al Gharbi District, Saudi Arabia by Shamel Food Company Ltd.

Subway engaged FRCH Design Worldwide to design a distinctive and welcoming space. A bright new colour palette, inspired by fresh vegetables and the new Choice Mark serve as a focal point in the new space.

The new look and feel has gone through significant consumer testing and is designed to transform the entire guest experience. The new Subway Fresh Forward design is in 323 locations in 26 countries around the world.

There are currently another 136 locations in various stages of construction and 185 restaurants in the design phase. With this Subway Fresh Forward design, the Subway team has improved each aspect of the customer experience.

'We are in the midst of an exciting transformation that includes introducing new restaurant design, new and improved products, refined operations, creating an even greater customer experience and staying true to providing nutritious, affordable and fresh food. That's what we do,' said, Nasir Zaman, regional director, SubwayMiddle East & Africa.

From décor to packaging, the new restaurants transform the guest experience from start to finish, including installation of digital menu displays and updating restaurants with a more contemporary design that includes new way to display fresh ingredients.

'We are ensuring that our franchisees have the greatest opportunities to build their businesses and we are confident that these changes will position us well for long-term growth. We plan to add another 200 restaurants expanding our network of locations to provide consumers with access to better food options,' said Zaman.

Subway has added more than 100 restaurants in the last 18 months across the region.
