Oman inaugurates 2nd cardiac lab at Sultan Qaboos Hospital
(MENAFN) Oman was announced to have opened another cardiac catheterization laboratory at the Cardiac Surgery Centre at the Sultan Qaboos Hospital located in Salalah.
"The establishment of the laboratory is a generous initiative by the New ATM Company which has purchased the cardiac catheterisation device," as stated Consultant Cardiothoracic and Head of Cardiac Surgery Centre Sultan Qaboos, Dr. Saeed bin Muslim Al Mashani.
Dr Al Mashani explained that "this device is considered to be one of the most reliable in the world of cardiac catheterisation."
He also highlighted the significance of the second laboratory, saying it is expected to provide assistance for patients care if a technical malfunction occurred.
