India's PM inaugurates major expressway projects
(MENAFN) Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was announced to have opened the first first phase of the Delhi-Meerut Expressway.
The Delhi-Meerut Expressway was explained to be reducing the travel-time to only forty minutes from two hours.
The Indian prime minister then opened the 135km-long Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE) at UP's Baghpat.
EPE is considered as the country's first smart and green highway to be constructed, with Rs. 11,000cr spent for the project.
