Pakistan- TCKP organises boat riding competition for minorities
(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday organized a boat riding competition at River Indus for minority community.
Men and women participated in the competition where they were asked to cover six kilometers distance from Jehangiri till Attock in boats.
Among the participants were 40 Christians, four Sikhs and ten Hindus men and women. Officials of Rescue 1122 and police personnel were also present to avoid any untoward incident.
Proper life jackets were provided to the boat riders and divers were present also. The participants thanked the corporation for organizing the event. Deputy Commissioner Nowshera distributed prizes among the participents.
