Oman- Indian School Seeb holds graduation ceremony for class XII students


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Indian School Seeb hosted the graduation ceremony honouring the passing out batch of class XII students. It was an evening full of nostalgia and memories filled with happiness, sorrows, laughter, tears and hopes.

The programme began with the promenade of 217 students of the out-going batch.

The parents and teachers were filled with pride and contentment when all the students fully clad in their customary gowns joined the procession with fervour and jubilation.

The promenade was led by the Chief Guest, Dr Anchan C K, chairman Academics, Board of Directors to the Indian schools in Oman and director In charge of Indian School Seeb, the Guest of Honour and key note speaker, Dr Narayanan Ramchandran, Ravi Jayanthy, president of the School Management Committee, the other members of the School Management Committee, the principal, Leena Francis and the senior staff members. Rixith Praveen, the assistant head boy, extended a formal welcome to the guests.
The principal gave her parting message to the students where she reminded the students that the time has come to venture into the world of competition, to start the trip to unknown world out there and to fly high to become the global citizens.

She said that the greatest joy in the life of a student is to become the reason for the smile of their parents. She illustrated the role of father and mother in shaping one's destiny and reiterated that the unconditional and unlimited love and care of parents is the everlasting source of inspiration and motivation for a student.

She stressed the point that to excel in today's world of competition and to reach the pinnacle of success one has to raise the bar of achievements higher and higher. She urged the parents to provide all possible supports to their wards in all their future endeavours.
Special all faith prayers were rendered by the vice-principal, Shiney Roy and by the senior teachers Abdul Majeed and Ajay Chaubey.

The Chief Guest Anchan C K in his speech said that life has a beautiful meaning and success is within; one must have belief in oneself and deliver to the best. The meaning of success has been changing so be well equipped and adapt different strategies to achieve success and above all respect time that is the most important part of life.

He gave the formula ICED for success I for the impression one creates, C for the contact that one has, E for engaging oneself with progressive and productive works and D for delivering the promises.

The key note speaker Dr Narayanan began his address by reciting the poem, 'The Road Not Taken' by Robert Frost. He introduced the book Exam Warriors by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the students and enlightened them by quoting words of wisdom from it.
