Morocco: more flexible exchange rate for dirham set to be launched


(MENAFN) Moroccan government declared the country to implement on Monday further flexible exchange rate system for the dirham currency.

The government released a statement confirming the fluctuation band to be extended from 0.3% either side to 2.5% either side, presenting a total of 5% range.

The government explained the launch is ought to offer economy in Morocco more superior protection from external shocks.
