UAE: Fuji reach a 500% increase in Kobe beef sales
(MENAFN) Based on managing director Ryusaku Hayashi figures, compared to last year in regards of the premium Japanese Kobe beef distribution in UAE this year, Middle East Fuji has attained sales growth of 500 percent.
Fuji has imported to UAE five carcasses of Kobe beef in 2017, whereas in 2016 it merely got a single carcass. There's a great possibility in 2018, as Hayashi expects, for the figures to triple given that the beef demand increases as it is presently being sold in the market at an average $462 per kilogram.
Arabian Business was informed by the managing director "we are now targeting to achieve 300% of our 2017 figures in 2018 and then further double it in 2019. It is of course an ambitious target, but we believe it is achievable."
