Mogadishu bombing Death Toll reaches 300


(MENAFN) An official announced on Monday that the attack by twin bomb explosions in Mogadishu caused above than 300 causalities. Locals were scattered in hospitals searching for relatives and friends who were caught by the horrific attack in Somalia which is considered as the deadliest attack experienced in ages.

Since Saturday, the steady increase of victims has been growing. The bombing took place at two busy junctions in the middle of the capital city, while a gigantic mushroom explosion arose after a bomb has been detonated near a fuel truck doubling the impact.

The explosion took place in Hodan at a junction in the city's northwest, which is said to be a commercial district with various shops, hotels and businesses. According to experts, the truck was carrying not less than 500 kg amount of explosives.
