Qatar- Awqaf Ministry programmes to improve quality of services

Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs H E Dr Ghaith bin Mubarak Al Kuwari has inaugurated two new programmes in the framework of the Ministry's efforts to develop administrative work, and enhance the quality of its services to employees.
The programmes 'Khidmati (my service) and Muhimmati (my task) have been developed by the IT Department at the Ministry.
'The new programmes will provide administrative services to employees and improve the administrative work at the Ministry, said the Head of the IT Department at the Ministry, Abdulrahman Abdullah Al Marri.
Al Marri said that the programme 'Khidmati was developed for service evaluation with a self-evaluation system for each service to improve the quality of work and performance of the employee.
'The programme also will help in presenting reports based on the evaluations of the services. Another feature of the new electronic service is that the system will send text message on the mobile phone of the employee about accepting or refusing the service, said Al Marri.
Explaining the second programme, Muhimmati, the Head of IT Department said that this programme would help officials assign tasks to divisions, units and staff, and follow-up of the completion of the tasks with high speed and quality.
'The new programmes will serve all users of the system including employees and officials, said Ali Ubaid Al Marri, Head of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department.
The system will have work reports about all employees allowing officials and heads of departments to access it to know the tasks carried by their subordinates.
The system will allow the head of the section to access the reports about financial transactions made by their employees in a bid to keep a track on it, said the Head of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department.
'The new programmes will ease many works related to the human resources department like vacation of the employees, their promotion and loan, attendance among many other procedures, said Mohamad Hasan Al Maliki, Head of the Human Resources Department.
