Parken, Inc. Enters Agreement with SAP to Provide Consumers with Multiple Parking Options Using SAP Vehicles Network

Furthermore, during the conference Parken+, SAP and Concur presented a demo of Tripit, a travel management app with more than 14 million users that offers a new scenario for booking and paying for parking with Apple Pay using the Parken+ app.

Parken+ consumers have access to all parking options under SAP Vehicles Network, including inventories of bookable parking spots of the two leading off-street parking aggregators in the U.S. with more than 9,500 garage facilities nationwide.

When using Parken+, drivers input their destination, and the time they expect to begin and end their parking session, and Parken+ serves up a map with a list of options in the immediate vicinity, sorted by price or location. Drivers who book in advance and pay within the app or via Apple Pay receive a confirmation code that can be scanned at the entry and exit points of the garage, or can be presented to the parking attendant for validation. Parken+ and SAP Vehicles Network are also currently working on adding options for on-street parking and an in-vehicle payment platform for fueling.
