Doha:Following its February 2016 launch, Ooredoo tv has today passed the 100,000 customer mark, a considerable milestone the company says reflects the brand's continuous commitment of giving Qatari households the ultimate choice of accessing premium live tv & on demand content.

Over the last year, Ooredoo tv has achieved many regional firsts from launching its 4K set-top-box and region's first 4K linear channel, to providing MBC HD channels exclusively in Qatar, introducing the region's first MBC+ Ooredoo cobranded live channel, and offering a dedicated kids' user interface, which provides parents with peace-of-mind that viewing content will always be appropriate.

A significant service upgrade from its Mozaic TV offering, Ooredoo tv has been designed as a new evolution in home entertainment, combining apps, on-demand service, and all of the premium live television channels in one easy-to-use box.

Ooredoo tv customers can also enjoy the ever-growing number of live tv channels on their Ooredoo tv app, which now carries 46 live tv channels. The Ooredoo tv app can be downloaded from Apple or Google Play App store.

Ooredoo tv customers enjoy the region's very best content available, with premium packages from beIN, OSN, Abu Dhabi Sports Media, TFC, My GMA & Starzplay.

'Ooredoo tv's success is about customer service excellence, because we constantly provide improved customer choice and premium viewing options, both in terms of content and picture quality, said Manar Khalifa Al Muraikhi, Director of Community & Public Relations, Ooredoo Qatar.

'Ooredoo is a regional communications company leader precisely because we put the customer experience at the heart of our operational decision-making. Always giving customers what they want is our formula for continued customer growth and loyalty, added Al Muraikhi.

Existing Mozaic TV customers who want to upgrade to Ooredoo tv can simply visit any Ooredoo retail shop to register and collect a free Ooredoo tv play device.
