French firm to build Energy Projects in Morocco
(MENAFN) Engie, a French electric Co., aims on renewable energy in N. Africa, in collaboration with Moroccan Nereva Holding, 5 GW and 6 GW power projects.
Additionally, the firm previously implemented some renewable energy projects in the Southwest of Morocco, whereas it's the largest wind farm in Africa.
Moreover, the new installations will help Morocco reach their renewable energy goals by 2020, while government aims to make 43 percent of Morocco's energy renewable.
Engie Co. hopes to extend the partnership to companies in Egypt, the Ivory Coast, Senegal, Ghana and Cameroon between 2020 and 2025.
