Thunder and rain expected in some places in Qatar
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Thunder and rain are again expected in parts of Qatar on Sunday, along with a slight drop in temperature across the country, the Met office has said.
Rain is expected in places like Doha, Dukhan, Abu Samra, Al Ruwais and Messaied, while Al Khor is likely to have cloudy conditions, according to the weather forecast for Sunday.
The maximum temperature is expected to drop to under 40C around the country, with Dukhan having the lowest forecast of 29-37C. In Doha, the temperature will be in the range of 31-39C.
According to the weather office, it will be hazy at first and hot for some time during the day. This will be followed by local cloud development, along with thunder and rain in some places by the afternoon. The wind speed is expected to reach 25kt in inshore areas.
Offshore areas are likely to experience hazy to misty conditions and will also be partly cloudy.
