Saudi to buy USD560m helicopters from Airbus
(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia is set to purchase 23 choppers from French plane maker Airbus for a sum of around USD560 million, according to an announcement made by the French Foreign Minister, The Peninsula reported.
In addition, Airbus is mulling over the possibility of constructing two nuclear reactors in the Saudi Kingdom, according to official statements.
A number of other deals, worth millions of dollar, were also announced after the "Franco-Saudi Joint Commission" meeting in Paris, held in the presence of the French Foreign Minister and Saudi Defence Minister.
