Jordan , Morocco to forge closer economic ties
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Jordanian Economic and Social Council Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with its Moroccan counterpart to exchange expertise and promote cooperation between the two councils.
The MoU will help in organizing meetings, seminars and courses to discuss economic and social obstacles, in addition to coordinating councils' stances towards issues raised in regional and international conferences.
The President of the Economic and Social Council, Munther al Share', participated in the founding meeting of the 'Association of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions' which was held in the Moroccan capital Rabat.
The Association will enhance cooperation between the economic and social Arab councils to achieve a balanced economic and social development and increase the ability to meet challenges and economic crises.
