Egypt- Man dies after alleged MB supporters' shooting
(MENAFN- Daily News Egypt) A man was shot in the chest with birdshot during clashes between alleged Muslim Brotherhood supporters and local residentson Monday and later died, according to the Ministry of Interior Monday .
Family members accused the Brotherhood of the man's death, the ministry's statement read.
According to the ministry's statement, a demonstration comprising of 50 Muslim Brotherhood members took place in Alexandria on Monday evening. This led to clashes between Brotherhood members and residents, with police forces later intervening to disperse the protests.
Three of the protesters were arrested, one of whom had in his possession weapons, the statement said.
The matter is currently being investigated, according to the Ministry of Interior press office.
