Saudi- Aruba Networks honors Mobily for accomplishing Passpoint technology
(MENAFN- Arab News) Aruba Networks Corporation a global company in the field of wireless networks technologies honored Mobily for the mutual accomplishment for launching Passpoint technology as the first operator in Middle East.
This took place when Nasser Al-Nasser chief operations officer received Jamal Amarah regional director of Aruba and the accompanied delegation in his office.
The advanced Passpoint technology allows Mobily to provide a highly reliable Wi-Fi networks that contribute in providing a high standard of international roaming service to subscribers and to roamers who visit the Kingdom and use Mobily network.
The Passpoint technology allows Mobily to provide an 'outstanding customer experience in terms of reliability connectivity and speed' of the Internet.
Mobily joined officially the largest international wireless broadband alliance known as Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) in return of its multiple efforts in presenting and developing new wireless network techniques and particularly WiFi wireless techniques.
The Passpoint technology is described as the most powerful factors that led to the enrollment of Mobily in this international alliance as this technique allows international roaming capabilities through the world Wi-Fi networks.
Thus roaming is based on the 3G and 4 G technologies which depend upon using the customer's SIM Card as a basis to allow him to use the Wi-Fi networking techniques located anywhere in the world without the need for username or complicated passwords as is the case now.
