Hong Kong's GDP up 2.5% in Q1
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Ng kong june 21 (qna) - hong kong saw a 2.5% growth in its real gross domestic product (gdp) in the first quarter of this year according to statistics released by the government of the hong kong special administrative region.
the government said that the growth in the third quarter was slightly lower than the 2.9% expansion in the fourth quarter of 2013.
in the first quarter of this year the city's exports goods and services recorded a year on year increase of 0.5% and 3.1% in real terms respectively.
the implicit price deflator of gdp a broad measure of overall inflation in the economy increased by 2.0% from a year earlier. (qna)
