Airbus wins USD8.3 planes order
(MENAFN) Airbus Group NV won a USD8.3 billion order from lessor Amedeo for 20 A380 superjumbos, according to Khaleej Times
Mark Lapidus, the lessor's chief executive officer, said that the planes are expected to be delivered between 2016 and 2020
Emirates also agreed to buy another 50 A380s in November, bringing the number of superjumbos it has ordered to 140
Lapidus said: "The aircraft is unrivalled in terms of its economic performance. This will help the airlines that are perhaps shy in a difficult financial environment."
