Qatar- QU reduces duration of foundation course

(MENAFN- The Peninsula)  DOHA: The President of Qatar University said yesterday that the duration of the foundation course for admission to certain streams had been reduced to a year - a move that had led to an increase in student enrollment at the university during the current academic year. Sheikha Al Misnad told Al Rayan TV Channel in an interview late last evening that the reduction in the duration of the foundation course from two years to one had been done as students were complaining about it.
