Rhea Kapoor denies 'Veere Di Wedding' getting an 'A' certificate

The reports of 'Veere Di Wedding' receiving an 'A' certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification Board (CBFC) due to heavy usage of cuss words have been doing the rounds for the past few days.

Clearing the air, producer Rhea Kapoor has said that these are all rumors and that the film is yet to be handed a certificate.

Present at the film's music launch, Rhea said, "So far we've had no problem with CBFC. I don't want to talk more about it because we still haven't gotten the certificate in our hands. Once we get it, we will issue a proper press release."

The film has been jointly produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms Ltd and Anil Kapoor Film And Communication Network.

"Actually, I love this film. I trust the producer and I have four stellar leading women in the film. I have always picked a script which was not a hit on paper but on release became super successful," Ekta Kapoor said.


'Veere Di Wedding' will hit the screens on June 1
Release


Starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania, 'Veere Di Wedding' has been making the right noises.

It has been directed by Shashanka Ghosh of 'Khoobsurat' fame and will release on June 1.

This is for the first time that Kareena and Sonam are sharing the screen space.
