Women's cricket: Australia beat Indian eves by 36 runs

Australian women's cricket team beat India by 36 runs in the fourth match of the Tri-Nation T20 series in Mumbai.
This is India's third straight defeat in this series.
Batting first, Australia posted 186/5. But India faltered in the chase as Megan Schutt claimed a hat-trick to derail India's innings.
India could only manage 150/ 5 in their 20 overs.

Mumbai teenager Jemimah Rodrigues was India's star performer.
The 17-year-old scored a brilliant knock of 50 runs off 41 balls.
Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur's 33 off 30 balls and Anuja Patil's 38 off 26 balls were other notable performances by Indian eves.
But it was Megan's hat-trick, that was spread across 2 overs, which halted India's momentum.
Schutt's hat-trick derails India

Megan Schutt bowled the second over of the innings.
She went for 10 runs in the first 4 balls of her over but then made a strong comeback by bagging the wickets of Smriti Mandhana and Mithali Raj on two successive deliveries.
Schutt then came back in the 5th over and claimed Deepti Sharma's wicket on the very first ball to complete her hat-trick.

Beth Mooney starred with the bat for Aussies scoring 71 off 46 balls.
Elyse Villani's 61 off 42 balls ensured that Australia reached 186/5 with ease.
In Indian cricket, 18-year-old Pooja Vastrakar's stock is rising. The Madhya Pradesh girl was India's leading wicket-taker with 2 wickets and also contributed with the bat scoring 19 off 14 balls.
