Afghanistan- 530 militants dead in military raids
Afghan National Police (ANP) jointly conducted military raids in cooperation with National Afghan Army (ANA) and Intelligence Forces in different areas of Maidan Wardak, Logar, Zabul, Kandahar, Urzgan, Helmand, Ghor, Farah, Faryab, Jawzjan, Kunduz, Badakhshan, Parwan, Kapisa, Nangarhar, Paktia, Paktika and Ghazni provinces, said a statement issued by Ministry of Interior (MoI).
During these operations 530 Taliban fighters were killed and 344 others were wounded.
Afghan forces also has arrested 37 insurgents and handed over them to relevant judicial organs for further inquiry.
