The Higher Organising Committee has recently sent invites to all Arab embassies and consulates through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, inviting children from all over the Arab world, as well as invites through the Ministry of Education, inviting children from the UAE to attend the event. An invite was extended to all Sharjah’s Children Centers to recommend children who match the criteria to present and discuss ideas through interviews with a number of delegations that will participate in the forum. Children from Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, the Girl Guides Association and the Emirates Scout Association will also participate.” Participants should meet certain criteria: intellectual skills, fluent communication skills and a sound ability to observe the ethics of dialogue. Al Kaabi said that the forum will introduce Arab children to the UAE and its achievements and instill a sense of pride at belonging to one Arab nation with an authentic culture. The forum also aims to promote the right of Arab children to express themselves and their ambitions, and develop the skills to innovate, create and communicate recommendations that will contribute to spreading the culture of sustainable development among Arab children. She added that the Sharjah Arab Children Forum, which is organized every two years, is a unique platform that brings Arab children together as the cornerstone for building the future of the Arab nations in a world of knowledge that allows them to exchange experiences, skills and cultures, and enables them to achieve their goals. It also gives children the opportunity to deliver their suggestions to the concerned people in their countries.
