(MENAFN- KNN India) Kerala KVIC to host Khadi Fashion show as part of Khadi Expo
New Delhi, Feb 23 (KNN) Eyeing at increasing the sales of Khadi Fabric in the state, Khaki and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) is to host Khadi fashion show on Friday.
The Khadi show titled ‘Parinaama: Change to stay relevant', will be held at Olympia Hall, Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium on Friday, a release informed.
The expo is being organized by Khadi and Village Industries Commission in association with Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Kerala Sarvodaya Sangh along with LBS Institute of Technology for Women.
The prime focus of the event is to expose the Khadi fabric in the state.
Commenting over the upcoming event, K P Lalithmaney, Director of Khadi and Village Industries Commission in a press interview said that The aim of the expo is to encourage the fabric and at the same time facilitate earnings for craftsmen involved in the sector.
Also the expo is targeting younger audience with the fashion show in place and special discounts, he further informed.
The expo will continue till March 6th, the release added. (KNN/DA)
