Iran: 66 passengers die in plane crash
(MENAFN)An Iranian jet plane reportedly fell down in central Iran with 66 passengers aboard, as it was headed toward the country's southwest, the city of Yasuj.
The Iranian Aseman Airlines' ATR manufactured plane was smashed in mountainous space outside the town of Semiro, according to the emergency services spokesman, Mojtaba Khaledi.
The plane carrying 66 passengers had no trace after 50 minutes from leaving Tehran's Mehrabad airport on the radar screens, State-run PressTV declared.
Mehrabad in western Tehran is an airport for local orientation, however, it offers some international flights.
