Georgian Foreign Minister: Integration with EU, NATO choice of Georgian people
(MENAFN- Trend News Agency ) Georgia is a sovereign country with a sovereign foreign policy, Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze said in response to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin's recent commentsabout Georgia-NATO relations, reports.
Our choice is based on the choice of the Georgian people – to be integrated with European and Euro-Atlantic structures, to have ensured peace, stability and more opportunities for peaceful and economic development', Janelidze said.
Minister Janelidze said this is the country's goal both on internal and foreign political levels.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin told TASS news agency that his country is concerned by the "activation of NATO and the United States in Georgia.'
