Afghanistan- 3 shops gutted in Kabul's third police district, say police
(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) (Pajhwok): A fire gutted three shops near the Khatimun Nabiyeen University in Kabul on Saturday morning, an official said.
Police spokesman Basir Mujahid told Pajhwok Afghan News the fire occurred in inside a fuel shop in an auto workshop in the 3rd police district at around 8:30am.
He said three shops were gutted before firefighters extinguished the blaze.
An eyewitness, Mohammad Yousaf, said an explosion was heard in the area but later he came to know that a gas cylinder blast triggered the fires at the fuel shop.
