Pakistan- Ghulam Bilour urges government to end gas load shedding

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR, 08 January: Senior politician and ANP's lawmaker from the provincial metropolis Ghulam Ahmad Bilour has threatened to take to the street if the federal government failed to resolve the problem of natural gas outage.

Addressing a news conference in his residence here Monday, Bilour said that people had been suffering due to frequent cut in the supply of gas, adding neither the provincial government nor the federal government were bothering about the problems being faced by the public.

He also disputed the federal government's contention that due to construction work on the Bus Rapid Transit project in Peshawar, gas pipelines had been damaged which ultimately affected the supply of the gas to consumers.

'The federal government's attitude with the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is hostile,' he remarked.

The nationalist politician also criticized the federal government for not tabling the Fata reforms bill in the parliament. 'It is strange that the federal government is unable convince Maulana Fazal ur Rahman on the reforms agenda,' he wondered and urged the government to expedite the reforms process without any further delay.
