Kuwait's Police Sports Union to join Arab Champ'ship in Algeria


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Dec 12: The athletics cross-country team of Kuwait's Police Sports Union left the country at dawn Tuesday to participate in the Arab Police Championship in Algeria from Dec 12-17, 2017.

Within this period, the union will also participate in the 103rd Executive Office meeting and 42nd General Assembly of the Arab Police Sports Federation. Kuwait is represented by Secretary of the union Major General Saud Al-Khodar who is also a member of the Executive Office in the federation, among other union officials.

In a press statement, Al-Khodar disclosed the union's participation in the championship was made possible due to the unwavering support of Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah, Undersecretary Lieutenant General Mahmoud Al-Dosari and Board Chairperson of the union Major General Abdullah Al-Muhanna.
