Oman- RAO conducts Nimr al Jabal military exercise
(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Royal Army of Oman (RAO), represented by Musandam Security Force and Sultan of Oman Parachutes held a military demonstration in Musandam on Tuesday.
It was held as part of the joint Oman-UK military exercise Nimr al Jabal. Units of the Royal Navy of the UK also took part in the exercise.
The demonstration was held under the auspices of Maj Gen Mattar bin Salim al Balushi, Commander of RAO in the presence of General Sir Nick Carter, Chief of the UK General Staff. The demonstration was carried out at the combat training units in the mountainous areas of RAO in Musandam. A number of senior officers from both sides also attended the exercise.
