H E Gen Nuamani, H E Busaidi meet British military official
(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- H E Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Nuamani, Minister of the Royal Office received Gen Sir Nicholas Patrick Carter, Chief of General Staff of the British Army and his accompanying delegation, on Monday.
The two sides reviewed the good relations binding the two countries in different fields and means of promoting them to achieve joint interests. The meeting also touched on several matters of common concern.
Earlier in the day, H E Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib al Busaidi, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs also met with Gen Sir Nicholas Patrick Carter and his delegation.They discussed the preparations for military exercise Al Saif al Sareea (Swift Sword 3) between the Sultan's Armed Forces and the British Army.
