Turkey, UK to hold political consultations

Turkey and the UK will hold political consultations at the level of deputy foreign ministers, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a message Nov. 22.
Political consultations between the deputy foreign ministers of the two countries will be held Nov. 23 in London, according to the message.
'Joint fight against terrorism, as well as the situation in Syria and Iraq will be the main topic of the consultations,' the message noted.
Syria has been suffering from an armed conflict since March 2011, which, according to the UN, has claimed more than 500,000 lives.
