Azerbaijan's energy minister to take part in GECF Summit

Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov will visit Bolivia to participate in the 4th Summit of Heads of State and Government of Member Countries of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), Azerbaijan's Energy Ministry told Trend Nov. 21.

The summit, to be held in Bolivia's Santa Cruz Nov. 24, is planned to discuss the current situation and prospects in the gas industry and gas market, as well as developing cooperation among gas exporting countries.

Azerbaijan joined the GECF as an observer member on November 21, 2015 during the 17th GECF ministerial meeting.
