Henkel to expand in the US
(MENAFN) German company Henkel is likely to expand its business in the US through acquisitions.
CEO Hans van Bylen said: "If there are opportunities for acquisitions, we will take a look at whether they are a good fit in terms of strategy and price. In the United States we are for instance not yet a leading seller of beauty care products."
Acquisitions are considered to be an essential part of the company's strategy, as in 2016 it bought the North American detergent maker Sun Products, and this year, if offered 1.05b USD to buy sealant maker Darex Packaging Technologies.
He added: "Henkel will have a very successful 2017 in the United States. That will also be reflected at the group level."
