Doha: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will implement a temporary traffic diversion on Izghawa Interchange on Al Shamal Road to complete the works of the accesses and exits of the new junction as part of North Road Corridor Enhancement project.

To facilitate the construction, the west side of Izghawa Interchange will be closed for 42 days starting from Thursday, 21 September 2017 until Wednesday, 1 November 2017.

During the detour planned in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, motorists can use the neighbouring Al Kharaitiyat Interchange in place of Izghawa Interchange. The residents living around may travel through the local approaches, as shown on the attached map, and the newly constructed service roads along to access and exit Al Shamal Road, as well.

For their safety, Ashghal urged motorists to abide by traffic instructions and the newly installed signage.
