Orders for U.S. capital goods decline in Jan

(MENAFN) New orders for US-made capital goods dropped in Jan unexpectedly, after three straight months of strong gains.

Accordingly, non-defense capital goods orders excluding aircraft, a closely watched proxy for business spending plans, fell by 0.4 percent.

However, there were falls in orders for primary metals and electrical equipment, appliances and components, as well as computers and elect products.

Meanwhile, President Trump has promised a phenomenal tax plan that the White House announced that it would involve tax cuts for businesses and individuals.
