Trump Wants New Color Scheme for Presidential Aircraft Fleet

(MENAFN) The fleet of aircraft used to transport the US president and other senior officials is set to undergo a visual overhaul following direction from Donald Trump, according to reports.

The initiative involves redesigning the exterior appearance of planes assigned to presidential and VIP travel. The long-standing light blue and white livery — first introduced during the administration of John F. Kennedy — will be replaced with a darker palette featuring navy, deep red, and gold tones that align with Trump’s aesthetic preferences.

Officials indicated that the repainting process will take place during scheduled maintenance cycles, ensuring the updates are implemented without disrupting operational readiness.

The revised color scheme will extend beyond the primary presidential aircraft — referred to as Air Force One when the president is on board — and will also be applied to the smaller C-32 jets that routinely transport Cabinet officials and other high-ranking government figures.

The move marks a significant departure from a design that has symbolized the US presidency for decades.
