Ajman warehouse catches fire, no casualties

The Ajman Civil Defense put out a fire which erupted in two ware houses for food items in Ajman. No one was injured in the blaze happened in the new industrial area.

Colonel Rashid Al Zari, head of media in Ajman civil Defense, said that the operation room of Ajman Police received information on fire at around 12pm.

The fire brigades who rushed to the site managed to put out the fire within 40 minutes, prevented it from spreading to other warehouses and then started the cooling operation.

He praised the civil defense teams from Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain; and the Ajman Municipality and Planning, which provided water at the fire site. He also lauded the fire fighters who arrived at the site in short time. He said that the forensic experts of Ajman Police are investigating the cause of fire.
