Iraqi army destroys eight ISIL fuel tanks inside Syria


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Iraqi army said Sunday that it destroyed eight fuel tanks of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in Sawab Valley inside Syria before they entered Iraq. Army units were able to destroy the tanks before fueling ISIL vehicles, a statement by the Interior Ministry, which reports security and military operations, said. The statement did not provide details on the attack which comes a day after Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki hinted of possible military attacks inside the Syrian territories, in attempt to target the armed groups.
