Kuwait- Wataniya Telecom Sponsors Juveniles Pilot Program


(MENAFN- Arab Times) "Wataniya Telecom", a member of Ooredoo Group, is always looking for ways to encourage and inspire individuals in our community in spite of their circumstances. Wataniya cooperated with the Ministry of Social Affairs and "The Art of Living Foundation" to give a pilot program to the Juveniles Home. The program is to help the inmates to lead to a healthier, socially responsible life with help of techniques which would eliminate stress, create a sense of belongingness and restore human values. The pilot program was successfully delivered to 326 boys and 6 girls from the Juveniles Home for 3 executive days, starting from March 15th, 2014. The program also included courses to 80 employees of the Ministry of Social Affairs who are working closely with the Juveniles.



The program included courses like "The Youth Empowerment Seminar (YES)" involving Yoga and Meditation to offer powerful breathing techniques, relaxation processes that help young minds to effectively handle emotions and realize their potential. It was scientifically proven that this process eliminates stress from the body. The program also enhances confidence, concentration, creativity and enthusiasm which leads to improved academic performance, better inter personal relations and good health.
