Jordan's Sharia Execution Courts To Operate On Independence, Eid Holidays
Amman, May 24 (Petra) – Chief Islamic Justice Abdul Hafiz Rabta announced Jordan's Sharia Execution Courts will remain open during the Independence Day and Eid al-Adha holidays to handle urgent cases, requests, and procedures to ensure continuity of services for citizens.
In a statement issued Sunday, Rabta said execution accountants will continue working at the designated office within the Judicial Execution Department (JED) at the Public Security Directorate during the holiday period to ensure "uninterrupted" follow-up on cases and execution-based procedures.
Rabta also noted the JED was provided with the contact details of the competent on-duty executive heads and officers during the holiday period.
He affirmed this effort aims to enhance non-stop coordination and follow up around the clock and rapid response to emergencies.
